Copy/paste is DW forumo:
Don’t buy cheap stuff…
I woke up the other morning and Tim (my son) said to me: “You kerbed your car last night then. “
I said no I didn’t and looked out the window to see what he was talking about.
Woah, wtf?!
I don’t remember doing that.
I did go out for a little late night shopping with some friends, but I didn’t hit anything. WTF?
Guess what?
I bought some cambers arms off someone on here a little while ago. New, but second hand. I won’t name him as he’s not to blame. They were very shiny and very cheap…..and what a load of shite!
Under normal use, i.e. no kerbing or crash damage at all, after 5 months, this happens:
It just broke in half. I count myself lucky. I noticed the car was feeling a bit wallowy on the way home and I’m so glad I took it real easy now. This could have been a very different thread otherwise!
Anyway, as you’ve probably guessed I’m here to say DON’T BUY CHEAP….buy quality, buy safe.
I can’t believe this shite isn’t illegal. And I consider myself lucky to have got let off so lightly.
